Before becoming a counsellor, I've lived abroad, been a full-time mum to two children, and worked in a high-pressured job in finance.
I believe the foundation of any successful counselling relationship is collaboration, transparency and trust.
I work in a flexible, open and conversational way built around what will work best for you.
My clients tell me I create a very safe, relaxed and non-judgmental space. They say I'm easy to talk to, a good listener, and that however they felt at the beginning of the session, they always leave in a better place.
In my time as a counsellor I have helped clients with issues including addiction, body image, depression and bereavement.
A full-list of issues I can help with can be found here.
Working one to one, at your pace. I'll engage, listen and talk with you about your past, present and future.
We'll work on tensions in the relationship, and developing awareness and understanding of each other.
We'll improve communication and understanding of each other, giving time to both the group and individuals so people can speak and be heard.
